How to disable Windows S mode (Win10)
Check if Windows 10 S Mode is enabled
You may need admin permissions for this
1. Open the Start menu, then select Settings from the menu.
2. Click System Settings.
3. Scroll down the menu on the left and select About.
4. Scroll down the About section to Windows specifications.
5. If the Edition says Windows 10 Home in S mode or Windows 10 Pro in S mode, then you know S mode is enabled on the computer.
How to turn off Windows 10 S mode
1. Open the Start menu, then select Settings from the menu.
2. Click Update & Security.
3. Select Activation from the left side menu.
4. Click Go to the Store.
5. Click Get.
6. Install and wait.
