Fixing corrupted Word documents

You will not need admin permissions to use Word

1. Open Microsoft Word, Microsoft Word may need to be opened in Safe Mode via Ctrl + Double Click.

2. Once Word is open, click on the File tab.

3. Click Open on the left-hand side, then click Browse.

4. Find the corrupted document, select it, then from the drop-down box at the side of Open, click Open and Repair (in the bottom right of the image).

5. Word will open the file and automatically repair the document.
